About Lula  With over 25 years of experience in human services and addiction recovery, Dr. Lula Bridges, PhD has dedicated her life to helping individuals navigate the path to personal transformation. As the founder of Innovative Sobriety Solutions, LLC, she specializes in court-ordered rehabilitation, substance abuse counseling, and DOT Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) evaluations across state and national platforms.

Lula’s approach is grounded in empathy, cultural competence, and evidence-based practices. Whether she’s working with incarcerated individuals, leading group therapy, or designing treatment plans, Lula centers her work on empowering clients to build healthy, sustainable lives. Her professional journey has included directing community service organizations, mentoring youth, developing court diversion programs, and guiding training for corporate and government agencies on behavioral health and addiction education.

A lifelong educator, Lula has served as a faculty member and consultant for multiple institutions, including Tuskegee University, Southern Community College, and the Dallas County School System. Her work with schools and families reinforces her belief that behavioral health interventions must begin with education and compassionate leadership.

Lula is also a published author and speaker on topics ranging from parenting and classroom management to the psychological roots of addiction. Her credentials include numerous certifications in addiction counseling, life coaching, compulsive gambling treatment, and HIV/AIDS education.
